Eien Legacy: G.6

We have finally moved into our new home and I can blog again. I've missed doing this. Things have been hectic with the move in and we were set back a couple hundred thousand. So, Ryan picked up some days and I taught a few classes and did some writing to earn a few bucks for groceries and the kids lunch money.
Remi had her first day of school! She couldn't wait to see me afterwards and tell me all about her day.
We did some shopping before we were to head to the library. Remi loves being outdoors, so I took a mental note to buy her a few out-doorsy things for her birthday.
We ultimately made it to the library. Remi reminds me of myself. She didn't get a lot of the work but she kept trying and never gave up. Way to go Remi!
Caleb made honor roll and we are so proud of him. Ryan makes sure he does his homework everyday and it is paying off.
I was invited to a retreat at the local bookstore. Boy do I have a different perspective on life. I actually met up with Mei and we hung out.
We had a nice little dinner date. We have more in common than I actually thought.
Isn't her little boy adorable! Lee also has a daughter. I had the privilege of baby sitting them last week and they were charmers! Maybe, I can get a little family reunion together?

Eien Legacy G.6

A huge tornado hit Summer Hill court 2 years ago. Our house was totally destroyed. Luckily we are all OK and the Eiens have several houses and we moved into a home that was used a few generations ago. It's not much and we plan to get back on our feet but until then...I won't cry too much.
Ryan has proclaimed himself baby whisperer and can get babies to walk with only a few tries. It looks as if he isn't bluffing. Remi was up and walking within a few hours. Much to my dismay. I hadn't baby proofed the house yet.
We are trying our best right now. We just have to stick together.
Caleb makes me smile every chance he gets. I don't know what I'd do without him.
Ryan spends a lot of time with Remi. She's a daddy girl.
When we get some alone time, when it is just the two of us we show just how much we appreciate each others hard work and dedication.
Ryan still cooks up a storm. There is no stopping him in that department. We may not have what he had before but our meals come out the same.

I get to do with Caleb everything I wanted to do as a kid. I hope he is having as much fun as I am.
My little darling is a complete Angel. I couldn't ask for anything more than what I have.
Caleb didn't want to leave me for his first day of school but I had to tell him if he wanted to be as smart as Daddy and I he should go. He reluctantly went inside knowing I'd be waiting when he got out.
After school we go to the library. It's quiet and we can do his homework and talk.
Ryan finally got to teach Caleb some of his fishing tips. I couldn't pass up the chance to paint this.
May they forever keep this bond.

Is this a sign of what I think it is? It's grand if I am pregnant but this morning sickness is 10x worse than it was for Caleb. I'm worried and I made an appointment for the doctor.
The doctor confirmed that I was pregnant. I'm so excited to tell Ryan when he gets home from work.
Being pregnant has made me very sleepy. I did the unthinkable and slept whilst Caleb was awake. I should definitely hire a back up baby sitter. I'm sorry Caleb.
I told Ryan that we were pregnant once again. His reaction priceless. He couldn't wait to feel and hear the baby from inside.
Hey buddy. You're going to be a big brother soon. Always be nice to her, protect and be there for her OK?
Thank you for giving me 2 healthy children. Everyone this is our second child, first daughter Remi.
Happy birthday Caleb! Smile for Daddy!!
And now there are 4. We are so happy.

I awoke Ryan to tell him that we were pregnant. He turned out to be just as excited as I was. We spent all night thinking of what we are going to name he or she. I think this is something we are both ready for.
After 8 long months of me craving pancakes every day and Ryan cooking every dish with love, We introduce to you our first baby boy Caleb.
Caleb as a infant flew and now he is a babbling, crawling machine. I love him more and more each day. With his father's tan and our red and brown hair, he sure is a show stopper.
Sometimes I stop and think about what would have happened if I refused Ryan that day at the door. Would I still have Caleb by my side?
I get lonely sometimes when Ryan is at work. I started the daunting task of teaching Caleb to talk. I imagine us talking about bears and toys a lot in the future.

Ryan wants to take Caleb for walks. I told him babies just don't get up and start walking :P. Here is Ryan's attempt at teaching Caleb to walk.

Once Caleb learned how to talk and walk it was time to take him to the library. He did splendid until it was nap time.

I tried to talk to my sister Ayu. No one has spoken to me since I announced I the wedding. They all felt I was being irrational and weak. That I was just too afraid to be alone. I tried to at least make Ayu understand how I was feeling. I thought since we are twins she'd be the one most likely to get "it". Boy, was I wrong. She just couldn't get it through her head I was genuinely in love.

When one door closes another opens.

We've been doing what normal newly weds do. Enjoying each others company and getting to know each other on a deeper and more intimate level. We are choosing to live in the now because it's just so beautiful.
