Eien Legacy: G.1
We came home and let little Ian send his first fish off to be mounted. He was so proud of himself. Cy and I couldn't contain our excitement anymore and blind folded Ian and lead him to his room. He was so delighted and happy. Cy and I were really glad we were able to do this for him. As the second part of his birthday present we took Ian out for a late night movie to see Simlight. Ian enjoyed the vampires and werewolves...I almost vomited and even though Cy was there to review the movie he look at Ian's face and saw his delight and decided he'd write a positive review anyway! After the movie Cy and I decided to drop Ian off at home, tuck him into bed and go back out for a long awaited date.
We went to Little Corsican Bistro. We had always wanted to go there but never could afford it. We figured how well we were progressing at work spending 50 simoleons on dinner would be worth it. While inside someone was celebrating a birthday and Cy said we should join in. We did and guess what? It was someone my boss knew and she was there!!! My boss saw how enthusiastic we were and she decided to give me a 19 simoleon raise an hour. Wow, I feel so blessed.
Cy and I talked over dinner about what we wanted in life for Ian. We agreed that we didn't want him to have to spend his whole life working as hard as we had. We want Ian to be able to have more than one child, get married, and not depend on working. We want his wife to be able to stay home with the children and raise them with love. We definitely didn't want Ian to go through the same struggles we had; where at one point we didn't know if we could keep him, not only because of our financial situations but because of our emotional and mental state as well.
In the middle of dinner Cy got a text saying to go outside of the bistro. He left and came back pale in the face. Someone died right outside the diner and they wanted him to write an article on it. I'm glad I didn't leave the Bistro! We soon left after that but it was such a good day that we put the death in the back of our minds and tried to enjoy the rest of our night.
