We decided to take a day trip up to Pinochle Park while Ian's room renovations were going on. As expected we had tons of fun. I read some medical journals while Ian and Cy played catch and tag. After a while I figured they were hungry so I prepared a nice picnic for us and we ate hot dogs and chatted.
The trip wouldn't be complete without fishing. It was all of our first times so we had a lot of fun squirming over the bait and not knowing how to cast a fishing a line. Me being the logic buff finally figured everything out and we got the fishing. It was so nice being out in the elements with just me and my family. I got a call on my cellphone that the renovations were complete so I told Cy and we quickly left as we couldn't wait to reveal to Ian his birthday present.
