Married into Eien: Kyra Eien

Hello, Everyone. My name is Tracey Eien and I am wife to Yuki Eien. We have been married now for over 18 years and we have 3 beautiful children together. One girl named Kyra Eien and two boys named Sora and Ame Eien. I've never had a Job and I've devoted my life to my children. My life is made up of giving love and support to my family. Doing the best I can to mold my children into productive citizens.

Being a housewife is a privilage I have come to be proud of. My husband works everyday but depends on me to help take care of most of the house chores while he takes care for the real life chores. He pays the bills and deals with finance while I manage our home life.

My day starts at around 4:00am. I quickly shower and dress and prepare the meal for the day. I usually prepare an  main dish and a dessert. I eat a plate for myself and wrap the rest up for the rest of the family to quickly grab when they wake up. Usually I don't have time to spare for myself because when I'm done it's usually time for the kids to get up. I gently wake both of the older two up and help them iron and pick out their clothes. They then set off for the wash rooms. I wake up my husband next as he leaves the same time as the children.

We then all eat together and finish any homework or research we have to do. I watch some television with the children until it is time to go. Since Ame is still a toddler it's time for him to get up. I wake him up change his diaper and feed him. I then play with him for a little while until I set him free to play.

While he is playing I start the chores. Yes, we do have a maid but I like to pull my own weight too. I cook one more meal for dinner and snack and then clean all of the dishes and counters. I then feed all of the fish. We have around 6 now! When they are all fed I work my way upstairs and make any and all beds. My kids hate making their beds by the way. Once that's all said and done I clean all the bathrooms. If there is anything unusual such as toys on the floor, puddles, or broken items, I clean and repaid them next. At this time Ame needs another feeding and so do I. I feed us both, change his diaper and set him off again. Yuki is usually returning home by this time. When he comes home...

I then go out side to get the mail, recycle the paper and tend to the garden. I love gardening and it is only second to cooking. When Ame starts school I know I will have more time to learn about cooking, gardening and my other hobby painting. I love my family and do the best that I can. I do side jobs sometimes but I'm pretty sure we'd manage without my little jobs here and there.

I  know you recently heard of the death of Sora. I don't know what to say, as a mother my heart breaks a little more everyday without him but my family is keeping me strong. I only have them and they mean the most to me. Losing one is like losing a hundred. I'm sure time will heal the heart but the scar will remain  forever.

Thank you for listening but my time is up and it's back to work! Maybe I can show you some of my paintings sometime?
I miss you baby boy

Goodbye!
