The night Tracy went into labour was a blur. I think I was gardening when I heard a loud sound from the house. It was Tracy exclaiming her water broke. I went into panic mode and just gathered up Tracy and drove as I could to the hospital. Next thing I know the doctors says "It's a girl" and 2 days later we are able to take her home.
I was so scared to even touch her. She's so fragile and beautiful. I gathered up the courage to feed her and I never felt so needed and protective over something.
I've even caught Tracy sneaking into her room at night, checking to see if she's okay. We love our daughter very much but Tracy and I both want to have another child. I envied the relationship my mother has with her 2 sisters. I've always wanted someone I could go to and gather advice from that wasn't twice or thrice my age.
So, Tracy and I decided to take little Kyra on a trip to Palm springs. They have a nursery there, Aunty Angel and Ari agreed to stay with mom. So,Tracy and I booked a night. We had a lot of alone time, we got reaquainted with each other. Tracy was pretty cranky during her pregnancy so we needed to catch up.

We we arrived home, Mother was so happy to see us; Kyra especially. I'm so happy mother remembers us. I'm not looking forward to when she won't.
I love my little family. :D
